London has this energy that makes you feel like you belong there, even on a work trip. ✈️

I just got back from the inaugural nonstop @alaskaair flight from Seattle to London Heathrow, and I have thoughts on why this city is genuinely the ultimate destination for the woman who travels for work and refuses to let that be the whole story (aka makes it glam).

Where to stay 🏨: One Aldwych if you want understated luxury walking distance from various iconic spots, Millennium Hotel for a classic London address, or Ember Locke Kensington if you want something that feels more like a flat than a hotel (and you actually need to get some work done.

Neighborhoods worth your time 📍: Chelsea, Kensington, Chiswick, Richmond, Notting Hill, Marylebone. Each one has a different little vibe!

Museums 🖼️: Sir John Soane’s is unlike anything you’ve ever walked into and at the top of my list The Wallace Collection is free and feels like a secret with some major names in art. The V&A is a full afternoon with so much to see.

Markets 🛒: Leadenhall for the architecture alone, Borough for the food.

Alaska’s new nonstop from Seattle makes this so much more doable (daily, direct and year-round service). It genuinely changes the math on a long weekend in London. 🇬🇧

I was lucky enough to be on the @alaskaair inaugural nonstop flight from Seattle to London Heathrow, and it completely changed how I think about long-haul travel.

✨Daily nonstop service from SEA → LHR is now a thing, and if you’re a West Coast traveler, this is a big deal.

💤Here’s how I do a red eye the right way:

🧥The outfit has to work hard. Chic enough that you feel put together, cozy enough that you can actually sleep (think elevated loungewear, not sweats.)

🧖‍♀️Skincare is non-negotiable. Makeup off within the first hour and face mask on.

🥗Eat well and actually sleep. The food on this flight was genuinely impressive — fresh ingredients, healthy options, and the kind of dining experience you don’t expect at 35,000 feet.

Wake up, do your makeup, and hit the ground running. That’s the whole system.
