Everyone comes to London and misses these spots.✨

If you have a full day, split it between Chiswick and Richmond. Two neighborhoods that feel nothing like the London tourists actually see.

Chiswick has been a quiet retreat since the 18th century. Artists, writers, and Londoners escaping the city. Richmond has been a royal escape since the Tudors. Both still feel that way.

Start your morning in Chiswick: coffee at @debbiejolondon , then wander Chiswick High Street, Devonshire Road, and Turnham Green Terrace. Browse @fostersbookshop , then lunch at @maridelidining. Before you leave, walk through @chiswick_house . The gardens are especially beautiful in late May. ☕📚🌸

Cross over to Richmond in the afternoon. Walk Strand-on-the-Green along the Thames, then make your way up Richmond High Street and along Richmond Riverside. End the day at @peggyjeanspies or an early dinner, then golden hour in Richmond Park. 🦌🌅

Save this for your London trip 🗺️
